What does it mean that God became a man, and what did He accomplish in doing so? In answering these questions, we will look into humankind’s Fall and the Christian belief in our need for a Savior who was (and is) both human and divine. Some further questions include: What does it mean that human beings are “fallen” and unable to save themselves? How is the incarnate Christ, though human, different from the rest of humanity, and why does it matter?
This seminar will be led by Natalie Runkle, University of Pittsburgh.
