Human as Worker/Creator: B&S Seminar 5

  • First Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 531 North Neville Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15213 United States (map)

John Paul II maintained that the social crises facing modernity were the result of bad theological anthropology: a failure to understand properly the human in relation to the divine. One place this is incredibly evident is in work. in this session, we will explore John Paul II’s reflections on the nature of work as he turns to Genesis’ description of work in the garden of Eden as a model for our own labors. Dr. John Buchmann, Assistant Director of the Lumen Christi Institute, will lead the fifth seminar of the Body and Soul cohort’s schedule.
